The architecture surrounds us, envelops us like a protective box for valuables. Delimits our environment, it establishes boundaries and points of view. It is container and contents, vessel for storing confidently our lives.
The lights and shadows alternate and crop images that stretch and break up in the streets and alleys.
This series of paintings illustrates a search that, starting from the image of the city, takes out some graphic issues and coloristic turning them into abstract visions of the whole metropolitan no representative ambitions but focusing solely on the perception of color, space, shadows and lights.
